Jeff Fierberg is a professional photographer and the Creative Director and Owner of Sora Studios. This focus of work explores craft, hospitality, lived experience and the intrinsic human nature that influences it. His narratives often accentuate tension between intrapersonal emotions and framed moments in time.
Storytelling and cameras have been and influential throughline in Fierberg’s life, from growing up in the newsrooms, studying Filmmaking and Film Theory at University of Colorado at Boulder and establishing a successful creative agency to the present. While Fierberg balances personal art endeavors and creating for clients, his narrative and style remain steadfast throughout all.
Far from a one-trick-pony, Fierberg’s experience expands beyond traditional photography. He has presented at MVIFF, lectured several panels on storytelling and brand building and debuted a virtual reality experience at The Redline Center. His most recent exhibitions include the solo shows of Shibui and Konbini at Dairy Block, a series showcasing the dichotomy of macro japanese cultures and micro Japanese convenience store culture.
When not behind a camera in city streets or in the back of kitchens, Fierberg meticulously photographs brand stories for his clients, Including Id Est, The Tourism Board of Japan, The Nobu Group, Meow Wolf, Mission Workshop and Corvus Coffee for his company Sora Studios.
